A very long drive towards hope. . .

There are often times I sit back and reflect upon many things in my life as I go about my daily duties. I think of those I have met and those whom I call friend, brother, sister, companion, family. I think of their struggles in life, the good days and the bad, and I often wish I could do more to ease their pain and give them comfort as well as congratulations and encouragement. These are the good people who deserve good things, and yet life has done them great harm by the hands of spiteful individuals. They are strong Sparks despite the pain, or perhaps because of it, and they stand firm in their belief that they have the right to live and be who they are. They are the ones I hold dear to me, they are the ones I lift up and give support to when they need me, and in whom I see a reflection of myself; their kindness and generosity, their strength and perseverance, their conviction and determination, and their protectiveness and compassion for others. It is they whom I embrace as friend, ally, compatriot, and family, and it is they whom I protect, the dear ones I fight for. I shall refrain from naming them, though they know themselves well enough to know precisely of whom I speak. I feel it is unnecessary to place them in the public spotlight, it is better that I simply continue to hold them in my own way and let them be, to protect their right to privacy. It is my hope that more will come to understand what compassion and understanding truly means, as those close to me do. Perhaps in time we will teach them by our example and they in turn will come to learn and realize the way things should be between sentient beings.

Until the day, til all are one.

Can't help but agree with you there, boss-bot. Society's slagged enough as it is, but hey, there's no problem in waiting 'til someone sounds the wake-up call. Let's hope that comes sooner rather than later.

As is my own hope as well. Sooner would be much better than later, for the sake of all humanity.

Well said, Optimus. It might not seem like it at times, but the struggles and challenges we go through in life make us stronger. It's good to know that you and the rest of the Autobots are there to help us by example when we lose sight of the way things should be.

It brightens my Spark to know that what we can teach humanity is being taken seriously, and that those lessons are being held so close and true to their intent.

I try very hard to do the right thing even though I have been treated so badly by others...I try to always do the right thing...sometimes I succeed in what i am trying to do...sometimes I fail...but I never give up...the world has given me many reason to be angry and hateful to it...and yet...I remain who I am...a strong and kind person who is always there for the ones I care about.

I love your speech Optimus...till all are one.

I am very glad to hear that you are not letting the bitterness of others turn your Spark to darkness. We all make mistakes, mistakes are a part of life. It is not our mistakes or failings that define us; it is how we rise up from those mistakes and handle the consequences of our choices that truly defines us. You can stand proudly knowing that you chose to do what is right instead of what is easy. Till all are One, my friend.

This was probably one of the best things I have ever heard. It's just so nice, generous, and just everything a good quality leader should have. You have an amazing way with words, great Prime.

I thank you for your confidence and kind words. It is good to know there are so many others who feel the same.
