Love Optimus *-* *Starry eyed*

Does anyone know what the Autobot Symbol and the Desepticon Symbol is of? Whose faces are those? Doesn't look like Optimus or Megatron..

Their origins have been lost to time, though there has been speculation that the emblems originate with the Thirteen themselves. Unfortunately there is no way to prove or disprove this theory.
